1. Gameplay
Wrong Hand is a reaction and interference game. The on-screen word is the command and you must input its opposite. Scores, combos, streaks and leaderboard positions are part of the game and have no monetary value.
2. Your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Wrong Hand on devices you control. You may not resell it, decompile it, or modify it to gain an advantage in competitive modes.
3. Game Center and leaderboards
Leaderboards and 1V1 require Apple's Game Center and are subject to Apple's terms. Availability depends on Apple's service, not ours.
Rankings are provided for entertainment and may be recalculated, corrected or removed where we identify corruption, bugs, tampering or invalid submissions.
When there is nobody to match with
If 1V1 cannot find a human opponent within a few seconds, the game gives you a computer-controlled rival instead. It is always labelled NPC on screen for the whole match, and is never presented as a person or given a human name. It plays the same cue sequence you do, at a speed derived from your own measured reaction times.
Results against the NPC are local to your device and are not submitted to any leaderboard. Private rooms never substitute an NPC — if you are waiting on a code, you are waiting on a person.
4. Private rooms
A private match pairs two players who enter the same code. Codes are short, so treat them as an invitation rather than a secret — anyone you give the code to can join. Codes exist only for the duration of matchmaking.
5. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Digital items are licensed for use inside Wrong Hand and have no cash value.
Every product is a one-time non-consumable. Nothing expires, nothing is consumed, and there are no subscriptions or in-game currency. Purchases can be restored from Restore purchases on the shop card — the bag icon on the main screen, or Settings → Support.
Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple's processes and your applicable legal rights.
6. Advertising
Wrong Hand shows full-screen ads between runs, served by Google AdMob. They never appear in 1V1 or private matches, never interrupt a run in progress, and never sit between a death and a retry. Your first several runs are free of them.
A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes them permanently. Nothing else in the game is affected by it — no mode, feature or difficulty is locked behind a purchase.
How ads are targeted, and the consent choices you are given, are covered in the privacy policy.
7. Content and updates
We may add cues, stages, taunts, soundtrack content, cosmetic presentation or online features, and may withdraw content or online services where necessary. A supported app version may occasionally be required for compatibility, security or new functionality.
8. Fair play
Do not manipulate scores, tamper with leaderboard submissions, impersonate another player or exploit a vulnerability to distort rankings. We may invalidate affected results or restrict online features where reasonably necessary to protect the game.
9. Comfort and breaks
Wrong Hand is a fast reaction game with flashing neon, rapid motion and high-contrast effects. Take regular breaks. If you are sensitive to flashing imagery, or want a calmer presentation, turn on Settings → Reduced Effects, which disables glitch, grain, chromatic split and the pulsing motion. The game plays identically with it on. The app also honours the system Reduce Motion setting.
A very small number of people may experience seizures when exposed to flashing lights or patterns. Stop playing and consult a doctor if you experience dizziness, altered vision, disorientation or involuntary movement.
10. Studio terms still apply
The Gemmein Studio Terms of Use apply alongside these game-specific terms. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
